A modified trapeze web is typically used by infielders and pitchers. The modified trapeze web is very similar to a trapeze web except a section of leather that runs on the top of the web. Modified trapeze webs are typically smaller in size than a traditional trapeze web which is mostly used by outfielders. It is also one of the most popular web types among baseball players.
